It took a year, but it happened: I lost a close friend to COVID.
It took a year, but it happened: I lost a close friend to COVID. I had family members and other friends come down with COVID, but all of them made it through. But not him.
I´m heartbroken, because his case started extremely mild, and he was like "I´ll stay home and just watch and play some stuff". Then next day he was admitted. Two days after, he was intubated. Three week and half later, he was dead.
The last thing we chatted about was about Snydercut and Assassin´s Creed: Valhalla, and him saying his old GPU was still with him, so if I wanted it, just say the word (I have a 980 and it´s starting to show its age with triple AAA).
Since yesterday, I saw at least 5 different stuff/news that I was like "oh, I have to share those with him" and then realize he isn´t here anymore. Then my heart just breaks all over again.
I was so excited for his future. But he isn´t here anymore to enjoy it.
