A man died outside my window the other night
He was skateboarding in the street in the dark and was hit by multiple cars. My roommate used to be an emt, she was outside and performed cpr while they waited for the ambulance to show up. He died en route to the hospital. My roommate thinks he might have walked away from it if he had been wearing a helmet.
    
    I can’t stop thinking about it. I can still see the blood stain in the street.
